Summer Theatre Camps

Camp #1 - Song & Dance Camp

July 6th - 17th, 2020

Got a song in your heart and a boogie in your step?  Then this is the perfect camp for you!  During this fast-paced, exciting two week day camp, students will quickly memorize a variety of songs from different genres and some clever choreography to go with them.  Then, on the last day of camp, students will get to dazzle in a mini-performance for friends and family!  No experience is required.  Space is limited, and this camp is always full, so don't wait to sign up.  Ages 6+.   Instructors:  Jason Wood & David Johnston.  Cost: $250 - includes T-shirt.  Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm.  There will be a Free Showcase on the final day of camp - July 17th at 3 pm, and kids will perform again at "Party in the Parking Lot" for Power of Florence (Time TBD - usually at 12:15 PM).

Kids Acting Up! 

Acting & Improv Camp

July 20th - 31st, 2020

Get ready to laugh and learn, while participating in a wide-variety of improv games and theatre activities designed to strengthen key performing arts skills.  To become a better actor, you must learn how to have excellent physicality, diction, projection, and characterization.  Our instructors will inspire you to use your creativity, while learning how to "knock 'em dead" at your next audition.  No experience is required.  Space is limited.  Ages 6+.   Instructors:  Jason Wood and TBA.  Cost: $250 - includes T-shirt.  Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm.  There will be a Free Showcase on the final day of camp - July 31st at 3 pm.  You'll be amazed at how much our C.R.O.W. kids can learn in only 2 short weeks! 

Camp #3 - ADVANCED ACTING PROGRAM- August 3rd - 14th, 2020

Through targeted character study work, Advanced Acting students will work on refining advanced skills and techniques. Utilizing carefully selected games and activities, this year's program will increase students' "bag of tricks" and prepare them for a professional career in the arts.  Minimum Age: 12+.  Instructors:  Melanie Heard and Genevieve Shahan.  Cost: $250 - includes T-shirt.  Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm.  There will be a Public Showcase on the final day of camp - August 14th at 7 pm.  Donations will be accepted at the showcase.   Participation in this camp is by audition or invitation.  Ask for information.  Parents, please be aware that this camp may contain mature subject matter.

2 week camps = $250 (includes a camp T-shirt).  $50 non-refundable deposit required to enroll in each camp.  Balance due on first day of camp. Students must bring sack lunch.  All other materials provided.  

Enrollment and Scholarship application deadline: June 12th.  Scholarships announced by email: June 19th.  Late enrollment may be accepted (if space is available) with a $20 late fee.  Late scholarship applications will be rejected. 


Sorry, there are no sibling discounts this year.  If you enroll your child in both Song & Dance camp and Kids Acting Up! camp, you will receive a $25 discount off the second camp.

Camp Location- The C.R.O.W. Center for the Performing Arts-3120 Hwy 101 in Florence.

Financial Need based scholarships are available on a limited basis.  Scholarships require a separate application.  Must be turned in by deadline, or your application will be disqualified!  Priority is given to students/families who are "new" to C.R.O.W. and those with the greatest financial need.  We do our very best to make it possible for all children to attend camp.  Don't be afraid to submit an application!  Please note: C.R.O.W.'s 2020 scholarship application requires proof of fiances (i.e.-tax return, payroll report) and a letter of recommendation.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at
