Celebrating 11 years of C.R.O.W. Summer Camps! 

C.R.O.W.'s 2022 Summer Camp enrollment window is NOW CLOSED.

ENROLLMENT DEADLINE: June 3rd.

If camp must be cancelled due to COVID, your camp payment will be refunded but it will not be refunded for any other reasons.  

Camp #1

"Improv C.R.O.W.-lympics"

(ages 7-13)

July 11 - 15, 2022

Attention Laugh-letes!  Bring your competitive spirit and practice your game face!  Through a combination of Olympics-themed improv and camp games, crafts, and skill building discussions about Theatre Arts, students will be immersed in a world of fun!  Who will win the GOLD?  No experience is required.  Space is limited to 20 campers. Those unable to enroll will be wait-listed.  Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm.  Instructed by:  William Owens and Halle Anderson. Cost: $135.  Tuition includes a camp T-shirt. 

 

**There is no end of camp performance, but pictures and videos will be shared on our Facebook page to  keep parents involved in the camp experience!

Camp #2

"Supervillains vs. Superheroes" (ages 7-13)

August 1 - 5, 2022

Uh oh!  It's GOOD versus EVIL, and the C.R.O.W. campers must compete to win control of the City!  In this camp, kids will create both a Superhero and a Supervillain character and then give them creative names, character voices, and even a backstory.  Directors will pair kids up for some hilarious improvised scenes.  No experience is required.  Space is limited to 20 campers. Those unable to enroll will be wait-listed.  Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm.  Instructed by: William Owens and Halle Anderson. Cost: $135.  Tuition includes a camp T-shirt.

Camp #3 - ADVANCED ACTING PROGRAM

"Character Study Intensive"

August 15 - 19, 2022

This year's Advanced Acting program will be focused on the fine art of creating a believable character.  Through detailed observation, skill building activities, and connection to real life events, students will create a fully fleshed out character, based upon an actual person.  Students will also be asked to costume and design make-up/hair for their character.

Minimum Age: 12+.  Instructed by: Melanie Heard.  Cost: $135 - includes camp T-shirt.  Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm.  Participation in this camp is by audition or invitation.  Ask for information. 

**Parents, please be aware that this camp may contain some mature subject matter. 

**There MAY be a small, informal end of camp performance on August 19th, TBA.

Tiny Tots Summer Mini Camps

(Ages 3 - 6)

 

July 16th 10 am to 12 pm - Hawaiian Jungle Adventure

August 6th 1 pm to 3 pm - Enchanted Forest Creatures

August 20th 10 am to 12 pm - Treasure & Scavenger Hunts

 

During these fun and fast-paced mini camps with instructor, Angie Johnstone, campers will participate in themed music and dance games, imaginative activities, arts and crafts, and much more.  Camps cost $25 per child and include a small snack and all materials.  Campers are encouraged to dress up and bring their imaginations! Children must be fully potty trained.  Parents may not observe camps.  T-shirts are not provided for these mini camps.  SPACE IS LIMITED.

Ready To Enroll?  Please read this info carefully!

 

1 week camps = $135.  Tuition includes a camp T-shirt.  A $70 deposit is required to enroll in each regular summer camp.  Unless we cancel due to COVID reasons, your deposit is non-refundable.  Balance is due in full on first day of camp. Students must bring sack lunch.  All other materials provided.  

Tiny Tots camps = $25.  Tuition does not include a camp T-shirt.  Payment in full is required to hold your child's spot.  A small snack and all materials are included.  Students must be fully potty trained.

Sorry, there are no sibling/multi-camp discounts this year.

 

C.R.O.W. does not provide refunds.  Please make sure you are able to attend before enrolling.  

 

Please note June 3rd enrollment deadline.

 

Camp Location- The C.R.O.W. Center for the Performing Arts-3120 Hwy 101 in Florence.

All current COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed (according to OHA/CDC recommendations at the time of camps).  

Financial need based scholarships are available on a limited basis.  Scholarships require a separate application.  Must be turned in by deadline, or your application will be disqualified!  Priority is given to students/families who are "new" to C.R.O.W. and those with the greatest financial need.  Please note: Scholarship application requires proof of finances (i.e.-tax return, payroll report) and a letter of recommendation.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at crowtheatrekids@yahoo.com.
