2025 Scare-C.R.O.W. Haunted Maze - Actor & Volunteer Application

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS INFO VERY CAREFULLY!

This form must be signed/submitted by an adult.

Sign up early.  Roles fill up fast.

  1. Roles are very limited for younger actors (under 12). Most actors in our mazes are teens/adults.

  2. Some of the roles in this year's maze include:  1920's theatre patron/ghost, dead props master/mistress, creepy doll, marionette, dead ballerina, bartender, squatter/hag, ticket collector, dead piano player, Victorian jack in the box, magician, giant rabbit, dead motorist, groundskeeper, parking lot monsters (1920s), and 1920s candy salesperson.

  3. Some roles are already cast.  If you wish to be considered for a specific role, please include it on your form.  If you have a special scary skill...tell us!

  4. COSTUMES: In general, you will be responsible for obtaining your own costume and it must be approved by October 20th.  If you need help, please let us know.  No cheap or cheesy "Halloween store" type costumes are permitted.

  5. If you have sensitivity to strobe lights, latex allergies, or other issues with wearing something that fully covers your head or face, please tell us.

  6. Actors are expected to be professional and remain in character at all times.  There will be a required "Scare-Actor Training Day" on Saturday, October 18th at C.R.O.W.

  7. Maze call time is half an hour prior to Maze start time.

  8. There will be a mandatory ALL CAST meeting on Thursday, October 23rd at 6:00 pm at the FEC.  The meeting generally takes about an hour.

  9. Actors will receive ONE FREE TICKET VOUCHER for the maze.  You may use it yourself (on a night you are not working) or give it to a friend.

  10. PARENTS: If there is a line at 9 pm, all patrons who have purchased tickets will be allowed to walk through.  Actors (including kids) may not leave until they are released.

  11. Please carefully review our Policies and Waivers.  All participants must read, understand, and agree to all policies and waivers.  Failure to comply with CROW's Code of Conduct will result in applicable consequences.

  12. Participation as an actor/volunteer is completely AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  13. Patrons are asked not to touch actors and actors may not touch patrons.  Nevertheless, accidentally touching someone or having them touch you when scared is sometimes unavoidable.

  14. Parents, please consider signing up as an Adult Volunteer to help supervise your child and keep all of our participants safe.

  15. One form must be submitted per person.

  16. Submitting this form does not guarantee you a spot in the maze.

  17. You will be notified by email when casting is complete.

  18. All Adult actors/volunteers will be required to submit to a background check.
