Important Information for Maze Actors & Volunteers

• Roles for younger actors (under 12) are limited. Most maze actors are teens and adults.

• Potential roles include: Old Crone, Goldilocks, Papa Bear (mascot), Red Queen, Sleeping Beauty, Rumpelstiltskin, Frog Princess, Hansel, Gretel, Mad Hatter, Alice, White Rabbit, Forest Witch, Hunter, Evil Queen, and more.

• Some roles may already be cast. If you would like to be considered for a specific role, please list it on your form. If you have a special scary skill, tell us!

Costumes

• Actors are generally responsible for providing their own costumes. All costumes must be approved by October 15.

• Need help? Let us know.

• Cheap or novelty-style Halloween store costumes are not permitted.

• If you have a sensitivity to strobe lights, a latex allergy, or concerns about wearing a costume that covers your head or face, please let us know.

Expectations

• Actors are expected to be professional and remain in character at all times.

• Attendance at a required Scare Actor Training Day (date and time TBD) is mandatory.

• Call time is 30 minutes before opening in full costume and makeup.

• Each actor will receive one free ticket voucher to use on a night they are not working or to give to a friend.

Parents

• If guests are still in line at closing, all ticket holders will be admitted. Actors, including minors, must remain until officially released.

• If your child participates, please consider volunteering to help supervise and keep everyone safe.

Commitment

• If you commit to a performance date, please honor that commitment. Last-minute cancellations impact the entire cast and operation.

Safety & Policies

• Participation is at your own risk.

• Patrons are instructed not to touch actors, and actors may not touch patrons. However, accidental contact can occasionally occur.

• C.R.O.W. has dedicated safety procedures and policies in place.  We strive to make our maze a family friendly, safe, and fun atmosphere for all participants.  

• Please carefully review all policies, waivers, and the C.R.O.W. Code of Conduct HERE. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.

Additional Information

• One form must be submitted per person.

• Submitting a form does not guarantee placement in the maze.

• Casting notifications will be sent by email.

• All adult actors and volunteers must complete a background check.
